Frequently Asked Questions
Our watersports season spans from mid-March to mid-November, with June, July and August being our high-season months.
Yachtcharter is available all year long with previous reservation.
Opening hours
Monday to Sunday: 07:30 – 18:30
During Low-Season or when its not windy: 08:30 – 18:00
During the summer months, the water and outside temperature are usually very pleasant and we recommend shorties while practicing water activities.
With strong Pelèr (north wind) the water temperature can temporarily cool down a couple of degrees, so a long 3/2 wetsuit is recommended for the following day.
We provide wetsuits, helmets, shoes and lifejackets in all lengths and sizes, and for the colder months a second pair of wetsuit and gloves..
For every paid course or rental activity, you'll enjoy a practical session on the water - thats our 100% Wind Guarantee policy!
If the booking cannot be conducted due to bad wind or weather conditions you have three options:
- We will issue you a voucher for any booked but uncompleted course days. This voucher is valid for two years and can be redeemed any time in our center1
- Staying a bit longer? Perfect! We'll try to find a new slot to make up for the uncompleted course days during the remaining time of your holiday.
- You can exchange the uncompleted course days for other activities in our watersports center. For example, if you have one day left, you can join a guided SUP tour or come wakefoiling with us.
It won't happen, but if it happens....
We offer activities that don't require wind. Enjoy the stunning scenery of Malcesine on our SUP's (Stand Up Paddle boards) or Kayaks. We offer lessons and guided excursions and also SUP Yoga!
In case you just want to chill, our center features a restaurant and a bar. So simply relax on the sun beds on our private beach with an Aperol Spritz!
Besides spending time in our watersports center, Malcesine offers a wide variety of activities. Read more here.
We have a rescue service operated by motorboat for rapid assistance available during our opening times. Our rescue team supervises the action on the water closely and is always in radio contact with our instructors and the team in the office.
We reserve the right to charge a rescue fee for collecting equipment of unexperienced riders. Thank you for your understanding.
During our kitesurfing sessions, we use GPS/SOS trackers to ensure maximum safety and real-time location tracking.
Our lessons are primarily conducted in German, Italian and English. However, we also have instructors who are fluent in French, Dutch, Spanish, and Russian as well.
